THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION WITH NO MILITARY REQUIREMENT. This National Guard position is for a MANAGEMENT ANALYST, Position Description Number PDD2505000 and is part of the Mississippi National Guard.
What You'll Do
- →This position is located in the Human Resources Office of the National Guard.
- →As a MANAGEMENT ANALYST, GS-0343-10, you will provide information and analyses to all levels of management using the assessments to answer the why, how, when and where questions. 1.
- →Retrieve and analyze maintenance data, present results to management.
- →Interprets findings from maintenance data and the use of statistical techniques.
- →Identifies trends and significant deviations from plans, schedules, and workload estimates.
- →Analyzes deficiencies in areas such as material consumption and training, workload, scheduling, management, and maintenance resources use.
- →Analyzes impact on the maintenance mission and the results of corrective actions.
- →Prepares written reports of analyses and studies.
- →Capture specific data monthly for inclusion into the Aircraft Predictive Model (APM) requirement.
- →Designs summary reports to meet recurring management needs. 2.
- →Controls, manages and maintains the Maintenance Information System(s) (MIS).
- →Develops policies and procedures for MIS application within maintenance activities.
- →Oversees the identification and correction of file errors within the database.
- →Controls, develops and coordinates maintenance data systems and requirements.
Requirements
- ✓Military Grades: E3 - E6 Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
- ✓For positions requiring the operation of motor vehicles, candidates must have a valid state driver's license.
- ✓CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT & NOTES: 1.
- ✓Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position. 2.
- ✓This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968.
- ✓An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. 3.
- ✓Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission. 4.
- ✓May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours; overtime may be required. 5.
- ✓The duties and responsibilities of your job may significantly impact the environment.
- ✓You are responsible to maintain awareness of your environmental responsibilities as dictated by legal and regulatory requirements, your organization, and its changing mission. 6.
- ✓Wear of the military uniform is prohibited while in technician status.
- ✓No substitution of education for specialized experience.
