You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYSIS OFFICER in the MANPOWER AND PERSONNEL DIRECTORATE of COMNAVSURFLANT.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as the Management Analysis Officer (MAO) and department head for the Manpower and Personnel Department (CNSL N11).
- →You will directly supervise a GS-13 Management Analyst, a GS-13 Civilian Personnel Program Analyst and a GS-12 Management Analyst.
- →You will serve as a special assistant and advisor to the Commander, Deputy Commander, and Chief of Staff.
- →You will participate in the formulation of program goals, plans, policies, procedures, and work plans dealing with the development and operation of command-wide requirements.
- →You will establish, revise, review policies, procedures, and mission objectives as necessary to eliminate work problems or barriers to mission accomplishment.
- →You will determine the need for and suggest additional studies or desirable modifications to improve policies, procedures, and organizational structures.
- →You will develop force-wide manpower and personnel strategies, provide primary oversight and representation of manpower and personnel issues, and direct programs for managing resources.
- →You will develop, manage, analyze, and forecast force-side military and civilian manpower requirements.
- →You will conduct research and special study projects to resolve problems, change procedures, or evaluate concepts.
