About the Role
If selected, you will be responsible for performing a variety of preventative and repair work to assigned facilities and equipment. 5 vacancies are available for Edinburg, TX. 2 vacancies can be filled in either Rock Tavern, NY or Miami, FL.
What You'll Do
- →The duties may include, but are not limited to: Install, preventively maintain, and repair industrial equipment.
- →Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the water supply system.
- →Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the Laboratory's air conditioning and ventilation systems, steam generation and sterilization system, and wastewater sterilization system.
- →Performs preventive maintenance of buildings, which includes carpentry, painting, flushing sewer lines, roof repair, maintenance of electrical and system controls.
- →Recognizes the need for periodic repairs, estimates materials required to make repairs, and helps plan and implement an ongoing program of modifications and alterations to accommodate changing needs and regulations.
- →Assists in the ordering and purchasing of supplies and materials needed for repairs.
