About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Carl R Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood,Texas. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Perform construction, maintenance, and repair of building facilities, such as repair and modification of metal and wood structures, building frames, walls, stairs, door and window frames, exterior trim, etc.
- →Perform necessary repairs, alterations, installations, and preventive maintenance for the operation and upkeep of buildings, utilities, and equipment.
- →Maintain and repair building equipment and materials in various trades such as Electrical, Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Sheet Metal, and Painting.
- →Independently plan work, determine tools and materials required, make material and equipment substitutions, and completes tasks.
- →Operate a motor vehicle for movement of people, materials, and equipment.
