About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as working leader of 3 or more employees in 9 accomplishing trades and labor work.
What You'll Do
- →Lead and work alongside personnel working, setting the pace in any of the following trades and crafts areas.
- →Performing various gas welding processes, electric arc/inert gas shielded, gas torch, manual, and/or a combination of processes to weld all types of commonly used metals and alloys of various sizes, shapes, and thicknesses.
- →Construct, install, modify, alter, repair, and replace all sheet metal components of buildings and structures used in support of mission activities.
- →Plan and complete projects from initial layout to final assembly or installation.
- →Repair, overhaul, replace, and install all types of key locks in or on building structures, to include key in knob, rim mortise, switch, mail boxes, cams and pad locks.
