This position is located in the US Coast Department of Homeland Security, U. S. Coast Guard, BASE Elizabeth City, Facilities Engineering Department, Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
What You'll Do
- →The incumbent for this position will serve as an air conditioning mechanic and an electrician and to personally performed duties and responsibilities that requires skill in those trades.
- →Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team.
- →Typical work assignments include: Installing and making repairs on large systems and various air conditioning systems.
- →Installing, modifying, repairing, maintaining, troubleshooting, testing and loading new and existing lines, circuit systems and associated equipment.
- →Assisting in the maintenance and repair of various mechanical systems.
- →Perform related mechanical and trades tasks (e.g., support mechanical systems, maintain tools/equipment).
- →Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- →Position requires "Universal Technician Certified" as required by CFR Part 82
