You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Waterfront Operations Department, Surface Operations Division, (Code 103), Hawaii Regional Maintenance Center (HRMC) within PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist and a centralized authority for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) related to direction and guidance for planning, procurement, tracking, material and inventory management, turnover and disposal.
- →You will exercise knowledge of the overall DOD, DON and PHNSY C500/DLA Logistics Systems support element functionality to include established methodologies and constructs for applicable supply, maintenance and transportation systems.
- →You will investigate the availability of material from primary supply sources.
- →You will provide logistical support and mitigates risk by utilizing functional expertise to resolve issues when researching material availability and recommending material substitutes for critical, hard-to-get material.
- →You will coordinate and serve as Government agent for turnover of material to contractors for all work to include TYCOM and modernization.
