About the Role
About the Position: This position serves as a Logistics Management Specialist for the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command located at Redstone Arsenal, AL or New Cumberland, PA. The Army's Face to the World, the one-stop focal point for Army FMS, and the international partner of choice in U.S. Security Assistance.
What You'll Do
- →Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Foreign Military Sales programs for all assigned countries.
- →Manage development of Basic Cases, Amendments, and Modifications; coordinating partner nation acceptance of Letter of Offer and Acceptances; and overseeing the successful execution of assigned cases from implementation through final closure.
- →Leverage key relationships with foreign government representatives and the Security Assistance Enterprise to proactively identify and drive timely resolution of all emergent issues.
- →Provide expert counsel to Security Assistance Enterprise colleagues and stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding and correct application of policies and procedures.
- →Directly supports executive decision-making by authoring a full range of leadership materials—including decision papers, trip books, and official correspondence.
- →Present formal briefings on FMS case management actions to leaders and foreign dignitaries.
- →Drive effective burden sharing by engaging directly with foreign partners through required official travel, using program updates and collaborative discussion to align strategic objectives.
