About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the OFFICE OF THE CHIEF OF STAFF, ARMY DIR OF ARSTAF PROGRAM MGMT DIR (PMD), JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, WA.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as a Logistical Management Specialist in the Program Management Directorate, Office of the Chief of Staff, Army (OCSA).
- →Identifying specific requirements to support the mission and correlating those requirements with program plans to assure that the needed support is provided at the right time and place.
- →Incumbent supports the organization in the procurement, shipment, receipt, storage, issue, and accountability of standard and non-standard equipment.
- →Manages and monitors the disposition of property and initiate actions required for obtaining shortages of all standard Army property.
- →Coordinates the maintenance, restoration, and transportation of these assets into the Supply Support Activity (SSA).
- →Ensures proper management, coordination, control of inventory, systems of inventory management, maintenance, supply, transportation, and all other logistic requirements associated with security of and accountability of all property.
- →Performs staff and analytical work such as effectively using automated, mechanized, and coordinating for the use of other material handling equipment; allocating and using storage space; protecting - items stored.
- →Coordinates the maintenance, restoration, and transportation of these assets into the Supply Support Activity (SSA), Defense Reutilization Marketing Office (DRMO) for those Items no longer required in Army inventory.
