About the Role
You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, as the JAGM DAPML, in the SUSTAINMENT PROGRAM MANAGEMENT & ANALYSIS DEPARTMENT, WEAPONS LOGISTICS INTEGRATION DIVISION of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as the principal assistant to the APML, responsible for the tactical execution of the weapon system's Product Support Strategy.
- →You will provide logistics leadership and direct program management to ensure the system is operationally available, maintainable, and sustainable.
- →You will develop, maintain and update the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), ensuring all 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements are addressed.
- →You will lead the Logistics team at the Technical Project Office (TPO), coordinating efforts between engineering, contracting, finance, and fleet stakeholders to resolve sustainment issues.
- →You will manage the execution of depot-level repairs, including the induction, tracking, and return of mission-capable assets.
- →You will coordinate with Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) and Army counterparts to manage inventory, direct asset movement, and oversee receipt, inspection, and shipping policies.
- →You will assist the APML in the development and management of the logistics budget, providing direct input for the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) cycle.
