What You'll Do
- →This position is part of the Department of War (DoW), Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
- →The incumbent will be responsible for assisting with the direction, development, and performance of logistics management operations that include planning, coordinating and evaluating the logistics actions required to support the Missile Defense Agency goals and mission.
- →As a Logistics Management Specialist at the NH-0346-3 broadband level some of your typical work assignments may include: Assist with the direction, development, and performance of multi-functional logistics managementoperations that include planning, coordinating and evaluating the logistics actions required to support theMissile Defense Agency (MDA) goals and mission.
- →Identify the specific requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services required to support the Program Manager's (PM) cost, schedule and performance objectives.
- →Correlate PM objectives with program plans to ensure required logistics support is provided at the right time and place.
- →Coordinate and evaluate logistics support to identify andexecute specific requirements, identify and mitigate risk, and develop and adjust plans and schedules for theactions required to meet each requirement on time.
- →Coordinate with higher level specialists to jointlyresearch and develop readiness and logistics plans, strategies, and procedures focusing on delivering a MDScapability that is effective, efficient, and supportable to meet operational requirements.
