About the Role
About the Position: This position is located within the Womack Medical Center in Fort Bragg, NC. Incumbent will perform a full range of locksmith functions and work closely with management in determining the most suitable locks to be utilized in solving their security needs/problems.
What You'll Do
- →Provide maintenance for locks, keys, and locking devices within a medical treatment facility (MTF) or surrounding clinics.
- →Provide entry of malfunctioning locks within an MTF.
- →Assist with implementing the key control plan for an organization.
- →Modify and rework locking devices to accomplish special security objectives.
- →Examine locking devices to determine if they have been tampered with to include disassembling the locks; closely inspecting locks for tool marks, abrasions, and misaligned parts.
- →Repair, replace or fabricate parts covered by manufacturer parts catalogs and specifications for locking devices.
