About the Role
This position is located in the Farm Service Agency, Oklahoma State Office. In Woodward, Woodward County Oklahoma. This position provides support and assistance to the Farm Loan Managers and Farm Loan Officers that perform a range of lending activities, closing, disbursement, monitoring, liquidating, and servicing of agricultural loans..
What You'll Do
- →Provides support and assistance to the Farm Loan Chief, and Farm Loan Specialists, and County Offices that perform a range of lending activities, closing, disbursement, monitoring, liquidating, and servicing of agricultural loans.
- →Under the direction of the District Director and the Farm Loan Manager, works collaboratively with Farm Loan Officers and loan staff.
- →Performs analysis, evaluation and advisory assignments related to the effective delivery of loan making and servicing activities.
- →Assists in the formulation and implementation of farm loan programs, policies, and procedures for the assigned farm loan area.
- →Provides technical advice and assistance on less complex matters concerning loan making.
- →Communicates with borrowers regarding loan status, status of pending requests, and standard loan fund policies and procedures.
- →Services work-flow and work distribution.
- →Identifies problems, uses sound judgment to evaluate alternatives and to make recommendations.
- →Uses knowledge that is acquired through formal training or extensive on-the-job training to perform one's job.
Requirements
- ✓You must be a US Citizen or US National.
- ✓Males born after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt.
- ✓Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
- ✓If selected, you may be sent instructions on obtaining fingerprints.

- ✓As a condition of employment for accepting this position, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period unless previous federal service is creditable.
