About the Role
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) position supports the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT). The LVN provides comprehensive practical nursing care, including treatments, procedures, and patient education. Duties involve rooming patients, taking vitals, administering medications, assisting with minor procedures, and documenting in electronic health records. The role requires strong clinical skills, teamwork, and the ability to handle a high volume of patients.

- →Has the knowledge and ability to appropriately carry-out assigned patient care based on patients' conditions.

- →Completed work requires a general review by Registered Nurse for appropriateness and conformity with established policies and procedures.
- →When setting pay, a higher step rate of the appropriate grade may be determined after consideration of higher or unique qualifications or special needs of the VA (Above Minimum Rate of the Grade).
