About the Role
The Greater Los Angeles VA Health Care System is seeking 1 experienced full time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for NIGHT SHIFT. In Nursing Service for it's Community Living Center G-63 in Sepulveda Located in Sepulveda, CA.
What You'll Do
- →Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse/Team Leader, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care to the Veteran patient with consideration to psychosocial, cultural, and age specific needs.
- →Demonstrates the knowledge and ability to provide a full range of practical nursing care to patients with a variety of physical and/or behavior problems, and knowledge of age specific differences from the adult or older population.
- →Maintains acceptable standards within the health care setting and works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician.
- →Provides nursing care in accordance with the overall philosophy of Ambulatory Care Service.
- →Other duties as assigned.
- →Preferred Experience: 2 or more years of recent nursing experience and at least one year of acute care or ambulatory care experience.
- →Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday Night Shift. 12 Hour shift 7:30 pm to 8:00 am.
- →May be required to work Weekends and or Holidays.
