About the Role
The Greater Los Angeles VA Health Care System is seeking 1 full time expeerienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Nursing Service for it's CBOC Santa Barbara Located in Santa Barbara, CA.
What You'll Do
- →Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse/Team Leader, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care to the Veteran patient with consideration to psychosocial, cultural, and age specific needs.
- →Demonstrates the knowledge and ability to provide a full range of practical nursing care to patients with a variety of physical and/or behavior problems, and knowledge of age specific differences from the adult or older population.
- →Maintains acceptable standards within the health care setting and works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician.
- →Provides nursing care in accordance with the overall philosophy of Ambulatory Care Service.
- →Preferred Experience - 1-2 years of primary/ambulatory/outpatient care experience is preferred Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm or 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
