This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.
What You'll Do
- →This position provides supervision for the clinical and administrative staff assigned to the Domiciliary and outpatient substance use disorder clinic.
- →Major duties include but are not limited to the following: Administrative Responsibilities Directs all clinical and administrative operations of the DOM SUD Program to ensure safe, efficient, and effective service delivery.
- →Provides administrative and clinical supervision to assigned staff (including those located outside the DOM SUD program) including coordination of schedules, workload, training requirements, productivity expectations, developing performance standards and completing appropriate clinical and performance evaluations.
- →Leads strategic planning, program development, goal setting, and evaluation of outcomes using data-driven quality improvement processes for the DOM SUD Ensures full compliance with VA, Joint Commission, CARF and/or other applicable standards; develops procedures, prepares reports, and maintains accreditation readiness.
- →Manages program resources including staffing, budget, supplies, space, and physical environment; submits staffing and resource requests with justification.
- →Oversees referral, screening, admission, and discharge workflows to maximize occupancy and ensure timely, person-centered transitions.
- →Maintains and develops administrative tools such as handbooks, program documents, data logs, schedules, and monitoring systems.
- →Coordinates outreach and education with internal VA services, community partners, and Veteran organizations to strengthen referral pathways Conducts and reports environmental and safety inspections; monitors the keyless entry system and maintenance needs.
- →Serves as the first point of contact for Veteran concerns and coordinates with Patient Advocates and leadership as appropriate.
- →Facilitates interdisciplinary team meetings, community meetings, and Veteran governance activities.
