About the Role
The LPN is aligned under Ambulatory Care Services and will be assigned to various Primary Acute Care Teams (PACT) and/or Sub-Specialty Clinics. This is a float position with the official duty station designated as the Ann Arbor VAMC.
What You'll Do
- →Work is reviewed daily by the RN; however, the LPN works independently at this level and requires little supervision by the RN.
- →Duties include but are not limited to; Demonstrates independent technical judgment, without the need for readily available supervision of their work Possesses a detailed working knowledge of complex practical nursing skills and procedures Functions as a leader or co-leader for a specifically identified group of patients.
- →Functions as Charge Nurse, where appropriate.
- →Hours may be rotated or extended based on the needs of the Medical Center and our Veterans.
- →Compressed/Flexible: Available Telework: Not available Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
- →Permanent Change of Station (PCS): Not Authorized
Requirements

- ✓All applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
