About the Role
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.

- →Duties include, but not limited to: Provide practical nursing care to varied patient populations, using sound judgment to prioritize, perform, and complete assigned duties.
- →Administer vaccinations and injections in accordance with established medical center policies.
- →Document patient information in electronic records and flow sheets.
- →Assist with complex diagnostic tests and specialty procedures, including patient preparation, equipment handling, and monitoring.
- →Participate actively in interdisciplinary care planning, contributing to coordinated patient care delivery.
- →Serve as a preceptor by orienting, educating, and training less experienced LPNs in complex clinical procedures.
- →Recognize and respond appropriately to emergency situations.
- →Assist across multiple specialty clinics as needed, ensuring flexibility and continuity of care.
