The LPN is responsible and accountable for individual nursing practice. Technically proficient in initiating, performing, and completing assigned duties in providing care to variable patient populations. Knowledge and ability to appropriately carry out assigned patient care based on the patents' conditions; to use judgment in selecting the appropriate order and sequence of procedures and treatments; and to accurately recognize, report and record relevant patient information.
What You'll Do
- →The Telehealth LPN provides high level support, training, and advanced management of telehealth operations and is typically stationed at a clinical care delivery site (VA Medical Center, CBOC, Rural, etc.), with duties that may require travel.
- →Primary responsibilities of the incumbent include delivering established telehealth competency-based training for clinicians and telehealth staff members.
- →The Telehealth LPN might be certified and function as a preceptor for Clinical Video Telehealth (CVT), and/or Store and Forward telehealth operations.
- →The activities of the incumbent are governed in accordance with relevant VHA, VISN and facility regulations, standards, and guidance including telehealth operations manuals, guidelines, and specialty supplements.
- →These activities shall be consistent with national, VISN, and facility-level policies and procedures, and support national, VISN, and facility-strategic goals.
- →Permanent Change of Station (PCS): Not Authorized
