This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The Watervliet Arsenal is an Army-owned and operated manufacturing center located in New York. It is the oldest, continuously active arsenal in the United States having begun operations in 1813.
What You'll Do
- →Trains employees on team building and accounting principles, theories, techniques, and methodology.
- →Ensures that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team’s strategies.
- →Develops information papers, briefings, and presentations and assists with implementation meetings, including contacting key personnel, notetaking, and preparation of minutes.
- →Leads and facilitates formal or ad-hoc teams in the formulation, development, and implementation of processes that evaluate, correct, and improve training, consulting, and administrative operations under the direction of the CPI Program Manager.
- →Responsible for implementation of innovated productivity improvement tools, such as LSS.
- →Conducts LEAN events such as Value Stream Analysis, (VSAs) and Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs).
