About the Role
The Lead Medical Support Assistant performs duties related to the receipt, intake, & indexing of health & administrative information, must use a computer and be proficient in various programs and applications. The incumbent is responsible for the coordination of Advanced MSA assignments & workflow found in an interdisciplinary unit. The primary duty station for this position is the Community Based Outpatient Clinic located in Hazard, KY.
What You'll Do
- →Duties include but not limited to: Assigning and evaluating the work of subordinate staff and resolving complex problems to ensure patient services are met Evaluating new products, equipment, and systems in order to make recommendations for improved operations Assuring coverage of all areas of responsibility.
- →Conducting ongoing reviews to ensure equality of work.
- →Ensuring accurate and timely scheduling of appointments.
- →Providing guidance to employees to include policy and procedural changes.
- →Distributing and balancing workload.
- →Mentoring new staff through orientation and on-the-job training for new and current employees.
- →Ensuring all training requirements are met.
- →Organizing the work structure of his/her assigned areas.

Requirements
- ✓You must be a U.S.
