About the Role
About the Position: This position is located within the Directorate of Resource Management, Naval Health Clinic Lemoore located in Lemoore, California. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as the Information Assurance Manager (IAM) and primary technical authority for information system security across the Military Treatment Facility (MTF).
- →Conducts risk assessments, evaluates system vulnerabilities, and implements countermeasures to protect systems from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or destruction.
- →Manages the full system security authorization lifecycle for all information systems and networks in accordance with the DoD/DHA Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- →Prepares and maintains system security plans, risk assessments, contingency plans, and security test and evaluation documentation.
- →Develops security specification and provides expert guidance for the acquisition of new hardware, software, and services, ensuring cybersecurity requirements are incorporated into the system development lifecycle.
- →Administers and maintains cybersecurity tools and servers including the Host Based Security System, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution, Retina Vulnerability Scanner, Windows Server Update Services, and other mandated platforms.
