About the Position: Hours of work range in 7:30 - 4:00, Monday-Fri and closed on all Federal Holidays. Office space is setup with the privacy needed to counsel Service Members (SM) on their findings but close enough to co-workers if assistance is needed. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Counsels military personnel from all branches of the uniformed services, retirees, and the families of those being processed through the Army physical Disability Evaluation System (APDES) on their rights, benefits, privileges, or obligations Plans work to be performed by subordinates by assigning work based on priorities, difficulty and requirements of assignments, and capabilities of employees.
- →Uses an automated databases to document progress, concerns or other issues relevant to Soldier cases.
- →Provides statistical information to Military Training Facility (MTF) and Regional Medical Command on the status of Medical Evaluation Board (MEB)/Physical Evaluation Board (PEB).
