You will serve as a LEAD FIREFIGHTER (BASIC LIFE SUPPORT/ HAZMAT OPS) in the Navy Fire and Emergency Services for the NB SAN DIEGO.
What You'll Do
- →You will perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or automatic external defibrillation (AED) during respiratory and cardiac emergencies.
- →You will perform a fire protection inspection of a building or storage facility to identify actual or potential fire hazards or fire safety deficiencies.
- →You will lead a crew of three or more firefighters assigned to staff a pumper, aerial ladder truck, or rescue vehicle in firefighting and rescue operations.
- →You will operate firefighting equipment (e.g., pumps, foam generators, boom, ground sweep nozzles) to control or eliminate fires.
- →You will determine the potential harm of hazardous material to people and the environment.
