About the Position: Serves as the Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) Administrator for the Radiology department managing the software and hardware capabilities of various systems, including Fuji Synapse PACS, Powerscribe, Modlink radiology software, Barco QAWEB Enterprise, MRS, NMIS, Hermes Medical solutions, Bayer Radimetrics radiation dose management tool, Hyland Enterprise Clinical Imaging Archive (ECIA), Hyland Nilread, and MHS Genesis. . This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Serve as a Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) Administrator across the DHN Europe radiology footprint.
- →Manage regional diagnostic imaging systems and IT architecture, ensuring reliable, high-speed access to medical imaging across the European theater.
- →Administer the PACS infrastructure, ensuring connectivity with authorized LRMC in-house, 23 tri-service medical treatment facilities across the European Command.
- →Support medical imaging capabilities for all U.S.
- →Embassies across Europe and Africa, and assist as needed with 9 FOBs in CENTCOM.
- →Oversee the integration, implementation, and installation of all platforms, systems, and networks within the LRMC footprint, Bavaria MEDAC, United States Air Force in Europe (USAFE), and Naval Medical Forces Atlantic in Europe.
- →Consult with clinical and tri-service leads to define user needs that guide application development, database queries, and software updates to improve system performance and meet end-user requirements.
- →Initiate, develop and oversee initial and refresher training for PACS and Radiology specific computer programs.
- →Assist with the installation of new software, versions and updates; adapt, configure and test computer software, hardware, and/or user systems for effective integration of software systems assigned to LRMC hub-and-spoke model.
- →Establish system requirements and specifications for new acquisitions or systems integration.
