This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Information Technology (OIT), Infrastructure and User Services Group (IUSG). As an IT Specialist (Systems Administration), GS-2210-12, you will serve as an IT Specialist delivering and maintaining hybrid and multi-cloud serverless solutions.
What You'll Do
- →Lead DevOps and DevSecOps automation efforts by designing and operating CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and automated testing, security, and compliance processes.
- →Serve as a technical authority for cloud platform changes, providing risk, compliance, and architectural evaluations for mission-critical systems through change advisory and architecture reviews.
- →Engineer and oversee cloud security, monitoring, disaster recovery, and operational resilience solutions.
- →Drive innovation and optimization initiatives, including FinOps cost management, platform modernization, and evaluation of emerging cloud technologies to improve efficiency and performance.
