What You'll Do
- →Perform complex systems analysis for major Automated Information Systems (AIS) projects, identifying and proposing solutions for errors and functional gaps in business system requirements.
- →Serve as the primary liaison between customers and development teams.
- →Elicit, analyze, and translate business needs into technical requirements using methods such as interviews, workshops, prototyping, and onsite observation.
- →Evaluate customer change requests and legacy processes to identify opportunities for BPR, enhancing efficiency and maximizing the business value delivered by the Enterprise Business System (EBS).
- →Conduct level-of-effort and impact analyses for system fixes, enhancements, and change requests to inform project planning, budgeting, and implementation schedules.
- →Advise Project Managers on the selection, evaluation, and integration of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software to meet DLA mission requirements.
- →Collaborate with representatives from DLA, the Department of War (DoW), and military services during business planning sessions to ensure AIS solutions align with strategic objectives.
- →Develop and execute automated test plans and scripts using modern toolsets to validate that newly developed capabilities meet functional requirements and quality standards.
- →Analyze test results, document defects, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
