About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Joint Interagency Task Force South, C41 Systems Directorate. What You'll Do
- →Serve as an IT Specialist (SYSADMIN) in the Information Systems Division in the Office of the Director of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence (C5I) Systems.
- →Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and applications.
- →Document and update all systems security operations and maintenance activities and assess the effectiveness of security controls.
- →Manage and maintain systems and servers, resources, and configurations.
- →Troubleshoot and perform repairs on faulty hardware and software.
- →Manage complex, long term projects to include performing technical studies, simulations, and preparing technical specifications.
