This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Financial Management (OFM), Financial Management Systems Group (FMSG), Division of Technical Operations (DTO). As a IT Specialist (Security), GS-2210-14, you will lead all aspects of the Information Security Program for OFM major applications and general support systems including the Health Integrated General Ledger Accounting System accounting system.
What You'll Do
- →Serve in workgroups, to represent agency Health Integrated General Ledger Accounting System technical issues and information (cyber) security requirements.
- →Prepare position papers, executive submittals, reports, and presentations to discuss various technical and management issues in systems' security program management, security policies, and security standards.
- →Provide technical guidance to system owners and business partners to develop and implement corrective actions to identify information security weaknesses.
- →Serve as technical security lead in response to security incidents, as required under the organization's Security Incident Handling Procedure.
