This position serves as a IT Specialist (Policy and Planning), located in the Department of Justice, Chief Information Officer, Service Delivery Staff, Enterprise Portfolio Management, Portfolio Management in Washington, DC. The incumbent is responsible for developing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with Information Technology Investment Management and Portfolio Management related to the Capital Planning and Investment Control frameworks or principles.
What You'll Do
- →The duties and responsibilities for a IT Specialist (Policy and Planning) GS-2210-13 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Develops, evaluates, and implements directives to implement high-level policy changes that impact significant agency technology resource requirements.
- →Evaluates the need for changes in existing policies or procedures within the OCIO Perform administration of the Capitol Planning and Investment Controls program and systems Provides oversite of the department's compliance to the Clinger-Cohen Act and the Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act.
- →Conducts training sessions for the Department's IT Investment owners and Portfolio Managers.
Requirements
- ✓Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
- ✓For the GS-13 level, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone.
- ✓No substitution of education for experience is permitted.
