This National Guard position is for a IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2580P01 and is part of the FL JFHQ, National Guard.
What You'll Do
- →As a IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) (TITLE 32), GS-2210-9/11, you will work within Plans and Policy section to support Future Operations as well as Project management requirements.
- →Documents infrastructure upgrade plans to support operational surge requirements and projected requirements.
- →Participates in portions of larger continuing studies pertaining to possible additions, alterations, maintenance arrangements or replacement of automated equipment for the network enclave.
- →Assists in technical specification reviews and economic analysis.
- →Reviews/prepares documents for excess equipment and reviews documentation for removal of equipment from applicable records and contracts when no longer required.
- →Assists in the development of technical specifications, and tracks configuration changes to existing baseline.
- →Designs and develops specifications for network equipment, telecom closets, outside cable plant (fiber & copper), and inside wiring in support of Military Construction Army (MCA) projects, sustainment, restoration modernization projects, and local minor construction/renovation/expansion projects.
