This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Level 3 Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the Cyber Defense Command - HQ.
What You'll Do
- →Coordinates cyber exercise design and cyber-related events with existing planning and crisis action teams in order to plan and execute missions and deter attacks.
- →Manages orders execution for 39 CC/S/A/FA missions, drafts the internal/external orders staffing process, and monitors messaging systems to guard against unauthorized access.
- →Supports all types of global order activities, monitors internal orders processes, and cultivates relationships for the execution of planning missions across the organization.
- →Receives, analyzes, and coordinates orders from multiple sources.
- →Distributes tasks to subordinate organizations and staff and tracks mission and task completion.
- →Oversees the evaluation and coordination of all messaging traffic programs.
- →Maintains technical and quality control over all message switching and delivery systems.
Requirements
- ✓There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-13 grade level.
