What You'll Do
- →Serves as a technical specialist for SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS), including SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), supporting the planning, configuration... ...installation, implementation, maintenance, and operation of warehouse end-user computing equipment that connects to SAP WMS production and non-production environments.
- →Configures, maintains, and troubleshoots SAP WMS client/workstation environments (SAP GUI and/or SAP Fiori warehouse applications)... ...and associated operating system images, drivers, firmware, and device-management settings used on the warehouse floor and in supporting administrative areas.
- →Integrates and supports SAP WMS-connected warehouse hardware, including label and document printers, RF handhelds, barcode readers, vehicle-mounted terminals, Voice Pick devices, tablets... ...Smart Cabinets, and related peripherals; resolves hardware/software interface and interoperability problems among devices, wireless/RF networks, print/output services, and the SAP WMS application stack.
- →Supports SAP WMS RF/mobile access methods used at DLA sites (RF Framework / ITS Mobile or equivalent SAP mobile warehouse clients), including device imaging, connectivity validation, and complex end-user access and usage troubleshooting.
- →Performs site surveys, staging, imaging, kitting, installation, site acceptance testing, cutover/go-live technical support, and post-implementation customer support for SAP WMS end-user computing configurations at CONUS and OCONUS locations.
- →Updates and maintains configuration baselines for SAP WMS workstations and warehouse peripherals; conducts comparative analysis of equipment models for performance... ...compatibility with the SAP WMS architecture, cost, and supportability; and recommends revisions to IT standards, guidelines, or approved device configurations.
- →Advises DLA management officials and site stakeholders on SAP WMS hardware/OS configuration standards, device compatibility, and infrastructure requirements needed to support warehouse operations.
