About the Role
This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA -OC/EUROPE.
What You'll Do
- →Plan, analyze, design, develop, quality assurance review, implement, integrate, maintain, and/or manage network systems used for the transmission of information in voice, data, and/or video formats.
- →Serves as the primary representative on assigned projects and may perform staff assignments as well, including: providing advice to decision makers in setting program goals and establishing priorities to support the organizational mission.
- →Ensures that programs are consistent with overall national and DoD telecommunications policies, objectives, funding and manpower requirements, plans, and schedules.
- →Ensures that required logistics, training, and other support devices are provided.
- →Identifies requirements, develop and implement project plans, coordinate and integrate project activities, manages project resources, participates in project reviews, and takes corrective actions.
- →Briefs upper management on problems that may arise, such as network isolations, which cannot be corrected promptly.
- →Conducts studies and evaluations of plans, networks, policies, and procedures impacting assigned projects for agency customers.
Requirements
- ✓There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-13 grade level.
