What You'll Do
- →You will help manage the network physical security systems; SIPRNet Security, Protected Distribution System (PDS) and IP enabled Anti-terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) network devices.
- →You will ensure compliance with Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA), Operational Directives (OPDIR) and Marine Corp Directives (MCDs).
- →You will be responsible for assignments, projects relative to Information Systems and cybersecurity matters.
- →You will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data through the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems, and tools.
- →You will plan and coordinate the delivery of an Information Technology (IT) security awareness training program for end users throughout the organization.
- →You will develop backup procedures for recovery from loss or destruction of data and program files, or from physical damage to the installation.
- →You will assist in developing policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.
- →You will assist with conducting risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs.
- →You will work with vulnerability scanning tools and enforce Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance.
