You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the SURFCOMSYSTRNCMD DET WESTERN PACIFIC . ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.***
What You'll Do
- →You will ensure all systems security operations and maintenance activities are properly documented and updated as necessary.
- →You will monitor and assesses computing environments for compliance in accordance with cybersecurity, vulnerability, and privacy requirements and practices.
- →You will report directly to and supports the SCSTC Information Systems Security Manager in the execution and administration of DON/ NETC/SCSTC Cybersecurity program.
- →You will verify and update security documentation reflecting the application/system security design features.
- →You will provide advice and input for Disaster Recovery, Contingency, and Continuity of Operations Plans.
