What You'll Do
- →You will manage, administer and maintain an Installation Cybersecurity Program that identifies cyber architecture, requirements , objectives and policies.
- →You will perform all account and data functions; ensuring proper security clearances are held by users granted access to any information system.
- →You will maintain information ownership responsibilities for each information system to include accountability, access approvals and special handling requirements.
- →You will as required conduct monthly cyber training for the installation Indoctrination Program.
- →You will prepare and disseminate cybersecurity awareness messages and monitor/maintain user training certificates.
- →You will review, endorse, and maintain all cybersecurity-related security documentation for all applications, networks, and stand-alone systems, including certification and accreditation processes.
Requirements

- ✓This position has been designated as a Cyber Workforce position in the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) role of Information Systems Security Manager, proficiency level Intermediate and, as a condition of employment, the incumbent of the position is required to maintain qualifications in accordance with DON Cyber Workforce Program requirements of SECNAV M-5239.2.
- ✓This designation requires: (a) The incumbent participate in a continuous learning (CL) program as described in SECNAVINST 5239.20A and SECNAV M-5239.2.
- ✓An annual 20 hour minimum of Cyber Workforce related continuous learning must be documented in a current individual development plan signed by both the employee and supervisor.
- ✓(b) The incumbent must obtain the required credentials within 12 months of appointment and maintain those credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for DCWF role of 722 (Information Systems Security Manager), proficiency level Intermediate.

- ✓The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions.
