This position is located in Defense Information Systems at DISA Fort Meade, Maryland.
What You'll Do
- →As the lead architect for DoD ESInet, this rile determines the system architecture based on operational needs.
- →Develops technical solutions using NENA i3 and other relevant national standards.
- →Architects the Next Generation 911 (NG911) location services, defining requirements for the core components (e.g.
- →Location Information Server, (LIS), Location Validation Function (LVF), and Geographic Information System (GIS) data sources.
- →Architects the DoD-Emergency Services IP Network (D-ESInet) end-to-end security posture using Zero Trust principles.
- →Governs the architecture for legacy network gateways to ensure a seamless transition to an all-internet protocol (IP) environment.
Requirements
- ✓There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-14 grade level.
