This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Information Technology (OIT), Enterprise Architecture & Data Group (EADG), Division of Enterprise Info Management Services (DEIMS). As an IT Specialist (DATA MGMT), GS-2210-14, you will serve as the technical authority to the Director and Deputy Directors of DEIMS.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as a Technical Advisor (TA) and program expert for the design, development, and implementation of CMS's Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Platform operational policies, standards, and procedures.
- →Act as the key agency focal point for BI and data support activities across CMS, providing technical oversight and guidance for contracts, agency-wide BI implementations, and the development of scalable technical solutions.
- →Serve as a Change Control Board member, where deemed, to facilitate integration and collaboration among multiple stakeholders’ needs and technical issues.
- →Lead the implementation of Congressional mandates for program integrity initiatives and direct CMS efforts to develop and deploy Medicare and Medicaid modernization initiatives.
- →Provide technical direction in the implementation and maintenance of operational systems by establishing workload priorities, monitoring, and coordinating BI Tool/database/software implementations, and working with vendor engineering staffs.
