You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (CUSTSPT) in the G6 Department Marine Corps Installations of MARINE CORPS BASE.
What You'll Do
- →You will provide customer service and technical assistance to organizations and personnel supporting the networks.
- →You will practice proper customer service protocols while providing technical operation and maintenance assistance to users regarding their end-user equipment and software, workstation, laptops, fax machines, printers, scanners, and other equipment.
- →You will install, upgrade and troubleshoot commercial-off-the shelf (COTS) and Government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) applications on the command's networked workstations with little to no technical guidance.
- →You will install network operating systems, network protocols, interface cables, RJ45s, RS232s and all software on networked or standalone computers.
- →You will answer incoming calls for service providing technical trouble resolution for supported organization and enters the problem in a Troubleshooting Ticket System.
- →You will remotely log into end user's computer and assists with setup, mapping drives or technical guidance.
