What You'll Do
- →Serves as senior Level I responder for issues affecting DLA's world-wide enterprise IT production capabilities, including networks, applications, hardware and information systems.
- →Records incidents in a Problem Management Database, dispatches Level II/III technicians, and keeps DLA management and appropriate stakeholders apprised of incident status from start through identification of root cause and final resolution.
- →Coordinates problem reporting and resolution with the subject matter experts within the enterprise as well as interfacing with DoD/DLA and Contractor personnel.
- →Performs pro-active monitoring for performance and availability of underlying architectural layers (i.e. application, network, and server) to assure compliance with prescribed performance measures and/or availability.
- →Serves as functional authority on one or more systems supporting the ITOC, including but not limited to e-Health, HP OpenView Network Node Manager, HP Business Service Management (BSM), Remedy, Checkpoint Firewall NG, and ArcSight.
- →Prepares a variety of administrative reports and studies related to the DLA IT enterprise for management's evaluation and analysis of operations.
