About the Position: This position is located with the Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, Colorado. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
What You'll Do
- →Operates a variety of system software, hardware and information technology.
- →Modifies configuration and assignment of equipment to communication on Local Area Network to better serve organization.
- →Addresses technical functions and trouble tickets involving Medical Information Technologies.
- →Provides technical advice and assistance to computer personnel regarding system software functions, uses, capabilities, and hardware limits.
- →Maintains acceptable use policies, user account requests and signed Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance forms.
- →Coordinates the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of business-related hardware and software systems.
