What You'll Do
- →Responsible for authoring strategic documentation and communicating complex program statuses, risks, and technical milestones effectively at the Senior Executive Service (SES) and Site Leadership levels.
- →Writes, develops, and executes comprehensive Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) planning.
- →Provides authoritative oversight and hands-on guidance through the critical analysis, design, testing, and go-live deployment phases of enterprise WMS rollouts.
- →Applies functional expertise to configure supply chain operations, resolve complex integration issues, and support both Distribution and Disposition Services core processes.
- →Manages the transition and modernization of legacy Equipment Control Systems (ECS) to SAP Material Flow Systems (MFS), overseeing... ... direct Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) communications, automated storage systems (e.g., AutoStore, AS/RS), and conveyor routing capabilities.
- →Orchestrates and executes hands-on SAP WMS In-Client configuration, manages master and transactional data migration cuts from legacy systems, and leads complex Transport Configuration releases.
- →Serves as the central orchestration lead during critical go-live deployments and maintains direct accountability for end-to-end issue reconciliation, from initial defect logging to hands-on configuration, peer review, and final production validation.
- →Represents the agency at high-level meetings and technical conferences, facilitating strategic alignment and direct collaboration between Department of War (DoW) stakeholders, warehouse operators, and private industrial automation partners.
- →Travel Requirements for the position: 50%
