This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration, in the Data Integration and Reporting (JLSR) organization of Software Development and Operations (JLS), Enterprise Shared Services (JL), Information Technology (J). A successful candidate in the IT Specialist (APPSW) position will serve as an IT Lead Specialist in the Application Software (APPSW) and Data Management specialty area for the Data Analytics Platform and Reporting Services team.
What You'll Do
- →As an IT Specialist (APPSW), you will: Analyze and refine system requirements to design, develop, and manage reporting systems that meet current and future business requirements and apply and extend, enhance, or optimize the existing architecture.
- →Prepare and present briefings to senior management officials on complex/controversial issues.
- →Perform work that involves planning, development, implementation, and administration of systems for the acquisition, storage, and retrieval of data.
- →Responsible for BPA's reporting systems management and infrastructure (Power BI, SSRS, SSAS, RStudio), of the reporting systems, development of standards and best practices, as well as the management and the delivery of services supporting a BPA common information model through the implementation of data integration architectures.
- →Responsible for planning and carrying out the project or assignment including resolving most problems, coordinating the work with others, interpreting policy in terms of established objectives, determining approach to be taken, and the methods and techniques to be employed.
