IT Specialist (Applications Software) provides technical solutions in responding to diverse business requirements. You will conduct and lead major projects to assess information needs. IT Specialist (Enterprise Architecture) is responsible for assisting in defining and maintaining the Infrastructure architecture while, focusing on the structure, organization, and interoperation of hardware to support business requirements. What You'll Do
- →Two separate positions, Information Technology Specialist (Applications Software) and Information Technology Specialist (Architecture Enterprises) are being advertised.

- →IT Specialist (Applications Software) duties include, but are not limited to: Leading Agile projects that deliver technical designs, deployable increments, maintenance releases and finished software applications as they may relate to any MRP mission program.
- →Acting as an expert technical liaison to support any contracted development effort that will deliver software applications intended to support any MRP mission program.
- →Acting as an expert technical liaison to support any MRP mission program in the development of statements of work (SOW) intended for the contracted development of software applications.
- →Ensuring all developed code by self or subordinates meets all defined security requirements as defined by the Security branch.
- →Providing tier 3 technical support to any applicable MRP mission software application.
- →IT Specialist (Enterprise Architecture) duties include, but are not limited to: Serves as technical expert responsible for assisting in designing and deploying system architectures including components, specifications, and infrastructure for centralized and distributed applications.
- →Researches emerging methods and tools for integrating system development strategies into IT projects to maintain project timelines and development costs.
- →Aids in establishing policy, standards and guidelines which serve to communicate Agency direction for introducing new application systems to the infrastructure.
- →Provide direction and leadership in the acquisition of contractor services to support the implementation of application architecture for the agency.
- →Develops strategies to ensure IT project leaders and application developers apply, use, and maintain version control when working with multiple vendor products and services on systems development projects.
