THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a IT SPEC (SYS ADMIN) (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1618P01 and is part of the FL HQ 101 AOG, National Guard.
What You'll Do
- →As a IT Specialist (SYSADMIN), GS-2210-07/09/11, you will develop, modify, and test overall system backup and recovery strategies for assigned systems.
- →Serve as a technical focal point for the installation and configuration of hardware and software on personal computers and for personal data assistants associated with assigned systems.
- →Serve as a systems administrator responsible for planning, coordinating, modifying, implementing, and troubleshooting in order to meet customer needs.
- →Serve as a technical focal point on multiple operating systems and computer platforms.
- →Provide technical assistance and advice to personnel involved in system design, programming, database design, and modifying commercially developed software.
- →Analyze, evaluate, and recommend hardware/software changes to various computer systems.
Requirements
- ✓In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS09- Successful completion of a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree.
