This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) - QUALITY CONTROL BRANCH (JT9D3).
What You'll Do
- →Lead the development of test strategies and methodologies for determining cyber risk through Developmental Testing (DT) and cyber survivability through Operational Testing (OT).
- →Direct the execution of complex cybersecurity test events, providing oversight of government and contractor test teams.
- →Serve as the technical authority on cybersecurity test and evaluation matters, advising leadership and developing standardized templates for test plans and reports.
- →Manage the professional development of the command’s cybersecurity evaluation capabilities and develop appropriate Statement of Work (SOW) language for contractor support.
