This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA.
What You'll Do
- →Directs the lifecycle of DCO-IDM policies, from development to dissemination.
- →Analyzes the impact of new IT policies on Cyberspace Operations and recommends modifications.
- →Analyzes Cyberspace Defense plans, focusing on critical infrastructure protection and threats.
- →Provides written reviews, briefings, and guidance on defense measures.
- →Engages in all stages of Cyber Defense planning to analyze and identify problems.
- →Develops IT studies and makes authoritative recommendations for improvements and problem resolution.
- →Leads and participates in working groups and task forces to coordinate DCO-IDM actions and projects.
- →Structures the group's approach to problem resolution for senior manager decisions.
- →Serves as a key authority on the Defense Cyberspace team, advocating DoWIN positions.
- →Acts as the primary DCDC point of contact with partner organizations and industry.
