This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the ???????Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA ???????DEVELOPMENTAL LAB OPS BRANCH.
What You'll Do
- →senior network administrator making decisions and initiating actions from data collected from a variety of cyber defense tools.
- →Assess trends and find solutions when deficiencies in equipment, networks, or circuit operations are suspected.
- →Provides senior-level technical advice to network enterprise leadership against known vulnerabilities and impact on important programs.
- →Directly responsible for the modernization, operation, maintenance, and defense of Defense Information Systems Agency organizational networks, including the testing, deploying, maintaining, administering.
- →Analyzes data received from various WAN network monitoring tools and prepares reports, charts, analyses, and briefings covering the information gathered, utilizing various monitoring tools.
Requirements
- ✓There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-13 grade level.
